that's where the clutch linkage cross shaft is attached to the body with a ball stud. The bracket welded on the body is to reinforce the panel. This would be present on a vehicle that has a standard transmission at some point. Ben.
Thank you Ben! That makes since it was originally a 3 speed and a /6 from the factory or for so I was told by the previous owner, Thankfully they left the clutch pedal attached so that will be 1 less part I will have to buy when I reconvert to 5 speed. :D
Thank you I'm excited to get them on some fresh tires as soon as I get the Wilwood brake kit installed (coming soon) 15x7 upfront and 15x8 out back the old Centerline wheels that are small bolt will be up for sale here in a month or so.
