Good point. Widening the slot should remove some of the added weight. Plus a bearing has empty space in it to cut down the weight also. I'm giving it a shot.
i will be waiting to see how it works for you. I have the msd pro billet dizzy in my car right now. i will be switching to the bearing you listed if it works like it should. curious how exact the advance limit will be.
