Getting the suspension ready for a Duster project. I have access to a /6 K member spool type but thinking it might be better to locate a V8 spool K member? Are there any major strength differences or benefit to using a V8 spool K member over a /6 spool K member? I will be using a 360 block in the car.

Not really, any difference. Schumaker services,Trans Dapt ,sell the swap mounts.

Does using the /6 K member and Schumacher mounts change anything in the way of clearances for headers?

For me, it would be the price. Those swap mounts are pretty expensive, factory spool mounts are pretty cheap. You can spend some time looking for a V8 K for the difference

That's a good question. Hang tight, and wait. Or Google "Schumacher engine mounts. Hit the website.

I have a 64 dart with a 360 using schumacher mounts on a /6 K member and TTI headers. I did a quick measurement on the motor and it was pretty close. I could have spent the time and try to adjust it it a little better (lazy and wanted to hear it run). My headers do rub in a couple of places. I use a tie down bar also. Other than that I haven't any problems and raced it plenty.

Thanks that is the real world info that I was asking about.
