''I'm going to fix it up someday'' The resurrection of a '74 Dart Sport......

Looking good, Is there a reason you have not fixed the drivers quarter panel yet.
I assume when you get time you are going to cut and weld in a patch.
Rear end looks great, fyi it cost me 100 bucks last month to have a 8.75 rear set up which I thought was resonable.

Thanks for the question, compliment, and your interest in my build, sireland67.
I paid the guy i know the $125 for the rear end set up because he needed the money and is a family man, still cheap in my books.
The reason that i haven't fixed the quarter panel yet is that i wanted to get the mechanical part of the build completed first.
That way it cleaned up a lot of parts that i had ready to install, and i could bring my car home from my friend's shop so he could have more space there for his projects, as well as i could work on some of the small details at home at my leisure.
Then it's time for an inspection and insurance, which should be within the next week or so.
His hoist is only open to me once in awhile and i had to coordinate all of my work within his schedule, which is only fair.
I have had problems with my health lately, my back is pretty sore, and i had the good luck of him (Racer71 or R.J.) to help me with the heavy parts of the build.
I'm starting to feel a lot better now.
Don't worry, the next part of the project involves installing some new AMD sheet metal that i already have bought for the car a couple of months ago!
I have lots left to go, but i am looking forward to the welding part of the body.
After it's inspected and insured, i can drive the car as i do the body work on it.
Excuses excuses!
Stay tuned!
