I know this gets asked alot, and, at the risk of having a piston chucked my way, I have one more. I have a 68 Barracuda that eventually goes from slant six to 360 V8. It has 14" stock wheels, small bolt pattern.
For tires, I don't want to fit the largest ones I can on the car. I want to go maybe a size larger than stock. The sleeper look. But I'd also like to go with disc brakes up front.
With that in mind, does it make sense to go to the 15" inch wheel. Several Forum members about have me convinced it does.
If I go with 15, what size fits in the front real well? The reason I ask is I have 15x7 wheels for my Charger, no tires mounted, and they just seem too big. But I saw a Duster on this forum with 15x6's in the front and that might be the ticket. If so what size tire? would a 205 look too skinny or should I go up to a 215. I have more leeway with the rear. Thanks for your help and patience.
