Stacey Davids Gearz. H pipe verses X pipe

Did anyone catch the show today. Rerun on exhaust systems. There was a 30 hp gain on a dyno. H over the X.

Sorry you guys paid so much for those cool looking good for pictures only X's. They only made a 6 hp gain over the stock system. The H made 41 more.

Don't say I didn't tell you all so. My pipes are 3 1/2 with a with a 2 1/2 H . Just enough to equalize the back pressure without side to side turbulence.

Oh yeah the company doing the test sells both. I guess ones for show the others for go. So Mopar had it right in the 60's.

I must say the x's do look good on the lift though.

Here's mine It isn't pretty but it is not built for show. Anything put on this car served a purpose and had to be inexpensive and street-able at the time. Now I wish I would have left the interior out and used less mills of paint. But it is what it is. Next is a F2 and port injection. Dana and Calverts. I may put metal rollers in the tips so they don't get scraped.

Well now I feel good . LOL

Some of you guys would have a blast sitting around with us old bastards at the shop and talking of the old days. It seems not so long ago. You may even remember or know some of us. Easy to find follow the rubber.

We can only talk we don't pass the physical anymore. but we can terrorize the streets. Yes the POPO are always here waving there finger. Maybe we'll be here tomorrow maybe one will be missing . The chairs are getting emptier. You never know when your numbers up.

Some of us loose power and crawl along for awhile . Some of us throw a rod and everything comes out the bottom. I hope I'm the latter of the two. I hate going slow. See ya tommorrow ??? Steve
