Stacey Davids Gearz. H pipe verses X pipe

At the shop I work at, we just did a test on a Cup series X pipe style and an H pipe style tailpipes on our Eddy current dyno and a plate engine that ran at Talledega the next week. No difference at all. Neither was better than the other holding all other things constant. We run an H pipe on all of our dynos because the fit is better. We run the X pipe in the car for better ground clearance. Just giving our results for properly built, tuned exhaust systems.
