just got back from Ryan J's and the new motor made 583 hp @6400 rpm, and made 500 foot pounds of torque @ 3500 and carried it up to 554 foot pounds @ 5400 rpm. I'm tired, long day, more info tomorrow

Nice,
Where is Middleway WV?

So what is the Secret Sauce..... You know the Recipe??

Sounds like a all forged, track like, engine with that peak rpm. Congrats, and I also, will be waiting for the particulars.

583 @ 6400 ......... you have to love that. Reliability goes up dramatically when you don't have to spin it to the moon.
Nice flat torque curve and enough to get even a heavy car moving. I'd love to hear the details too.

thanks guys, and good morning. It's a 414", 340 based stroker, K1 forged crank, scat h-beams, wiseco "shelf" pistons, eddy heads with Ryan's stage 3 port job, super victor intake port matched, proform 950, bullet solid roller 638/638 lift, 264/268 dur @ 50 on a 104 cut. I can hardly wait to get it back in the dart and make some noise around the ol' neighborhood.

Yow! It should scoot! Don't forget us engine junkies. We need a video when you get it on the street. tmm

numbers reflect parts selection...I see you have done your home work. nice job !!

LSA is a bit tight for that!

Back the timing off a couple degrees and get on down the road with it. Never going to hook all that on the street so why bother with the race fuel? His ave octane on that mix is like 95 or so.

With numbers like that I need a towel. I too would love to hear that beast scream!
