904 every gear is first gear

You guys all got it the tab was out of the manual valve. It probably
came out of the slot because the external gearshift
control lever was too low on the shaft and didn't
let the tab rest deep enough into the groove
on the manual valve. I got the tab back into the groove then tried to get it in as deep as
possible then tightened the control lever. Does this make sense? It is working now.

Makes all the sense in the world.
Like I said before, one of these days the world is going to have a crapload of old mopar tranmission pros. (Pros for old mopar tranmissions) :-)
