The 1967 'Barracuda', which now has a new style, will include a 'Notchback Coupe', 'Fastback' and 'Convertible'.

For Performance, the 'steady' 273/235 HP 'Commando' will still be available, as will the popular 'Formula S'
performance handling package.

But immediately offered with the 'A-Body' will be a 383/280 HP 'Commando', to compete with the 1967 'Big Engine Pony Cars',

* Mustang GT 390 {390/320 HP}
* Cougar GT 390 {390/320 HP}
* Firebird {400/325 HP}

New Addition;____________________________________________________________________________________________

The 1967 'GTX', which is a new 'Gentleman's Musclecar'. Built off of the Belvedere II 'Hardtop' platform, the 'standard'
engine will be a new 440/375 HP 'Super Commando'.

Also available for the GTX, will be the '426/425 HP 'Street Hemi'.

Note; The 426 'Street Hemi' was only to be available with the 'GTX', but a few 426 'Street Hemi' engines were snuck
into a couple of Belvedere, Belvedere II and Satellite B-Body cars.

The 1967 Belvedere {Sedan Post}, Belvedere II {Hardtop} and Satellite will all be available with the durable 383/325 HP
'Commando'.

Super Stock Edition;______________________________________________________________________________________

In February of 1967, Plymouth will build '55' special Belvedere II 426 'Street Hemi' cars, specifically designed for the
1967 NHRA Super Stock Class of either SS/B or SS/BA.

The Belvedere II cars will be prepared by Plymouth, and will include;
* Hood Scoop with 'special' under Hood Air-Seal
* Special 'Arlen Vanke' modified Intake Manifold
* Re-Jetted Carter AFB Carburetors
* Prestolite Transistorized Ignition
* Solid-Core Ignition Wires
* Super Stock Leaf Springs
* Heavy-Duty Shocks
* Special Heavy-Duty Clutch and Hurst Shifter (For Manual Transmission)
* Lakewood Safety Bell-Housing (For Manual Transmission)
* B & M Torque Converter (For Automatic Transmission)
* Special Internal Components (For A-727 Automatic Transmission)
* Hooker Headers (Placed in Trunk, to be installed by Racer)
* 5-Blade Fan with Clutch-Drive
* Trunk-mounted Battery
* Radio and Heater 'delete'
* No 'body sealer', 'sound deadener' or 'undercoating'.
* 4.88 Gears and Dana Rear (For Manual Transmission Cars)
* 4.86 Gears and 8 3/4" Rear (For Automatic Transmission Cars)
