Anyone dealt with Classic Industries. They have a nice big cataloge with everything in it. Then you go on their website and its slow and I always have login issues when I know my own Email, password and customer number. You order what you want and guaranteed that there will be a handfull of items that they do not have in stock. Fine but when you ask them an ETA its 6 weeks away. Also it takes 3 - 4 days for them to ship the items they do have and charge a premium for the shipping.

Is it just me or am I expecting too much

There was a Classic Industries thread on here a couple days ago but I see it's gone now. Must have gotten out of hand.

I use to use year one,but the costumer service was bad and no tracking numbers.
Then used Classic for 75% of the remaining of my car,but ordered a lot per order.

I spent thousands of dollars there and I am very happy with them.
They show you on the web if in stock (year one does not).
They do not charge you for back order stuff until shipped (year one does).
They Email you a tracking number(year one does not).

I cancelled a small order just recently (14 inch ralley rim) because I found a used
one here on Fabo, No questions asked.(it was back ordered).

Looks like they are now advertizing here on Fabo to your right>
And no I do not work for them, just very happy with them.

personally I like Classic industries, as I have ordered tons of stuff, and only once was a small item back ordered, and the items arrive pretty fast, considering there on the west coast, and I'm on the East coast. Also I'v been happy with the quality of everything I'v ordered so far. I like them better than Year One.

Classic Industries is great! I have never had any issues, its a lot cheaper than Year One.
I have dealt with Year One, I have to agree that customer service is better and the employee's definitely know their stuff, but Classic Industries is my #1 supplier.

if you tell them you were at spring fling, they will give a 15 or 20% discount. vary nice guys, havent ordered yet. but i live less than 15 miles away so i can go in and pick up.

Classic runs sales every couple weeks, usually 20 percent off
Shipping is a little high

Year One ran a sale last weekend but email doesn't go out til 6 on Sunday morning... I didn't check until my email til Monday when sale was already over
I got mufflers from them when they were 30 percent off and they were just barely cheaper than Classic charged. They were back ordered yet Year One never told me and they arrived LONG after I expected them

My advice.... Buy Classic

i bought one thing from year one and the rest comes from classic industries. I have had no complaints except when my catalogue arrived it was a chevy truck catalogue. I called and told them the problem and they said they would send out the correct mopar catalogue. One month later still no catalogue.

I completed an order one night and sent it off. The next day i received an email for free shipping so i called them up and asked about the email and they gave me a credit for what i had paid on shipping. I was a bit suprised. So the customer service is there.

But now i just have to run back to the mail box to see if the catalogue arrived yet.

Yes their website is very slow but i thought it was just my connection

Ive ordered almost everything for my car thru them. I do not like there website, so I look up everything in the catalog then go to there site and type in the part number. Works good that way for me. I try to place big orders instead of a lot of little orders with them. You get a volume discount that way.

My only issue is why does it take 3-4 days after a order is placed to get it shipped. They have had everything I wanted and the quality was fine. but to order on wednesday and it not ship til monday or tuesday is nuts. Most places will ship with in 24 hours.

Order 3 or 4 days earlier?

I think they have a system in place as to truck pick and so on, plus packing.

Classic has been pretty good.

They show if items are on back order unlike many others. I add to my wish list and check often. They are not a one stop shop but none are. At least they show this so you can decide to look else where if you are in a hurry!

They have fixed an order on the fly for me and were very responsive.

Just wish they would get those kick panels in stock!!!!

I like classic industries better than year one , BUT that like saying I like to get 10 teeth pulled instead of all of them. A freind in michigan called me bitching about his order a couple weeks ago and it seems that the shipping prices went through the roof for his order. he said that with shipping he paid almost as much as it would have cost for year one and their stupid shipping costs. now he price checks everything and will only order if he's got a coupon from either company or free shipping. I have seen him order 8 to 10 grand of stuff for one project in one sitting, so for him to say something about shipping is it has to be bad!

I use Classic Industries a lot. Never had a problem. I've ordered a few things from Year One but don't use them anymore. Better deals at Classic.

I've been trying to order a catalog, but the site craps out before it finishes the order. I'd really like one. I absolutely HATE YearOne, and these guys are good competition for them.

I bought my entire interior from them yes the web site crawl's but the product and customer service I received was very good.

Dont get me wrong I think the prices are great and much better than year one and the 20% discounts are good. My biggest gripe is the website issues and slowness of the shipping. I do think they should ship there stuff out within 24 hours. Most companies do these days even smaller companies. One of the parts they didnt have in stock was Rallye Wheel Acorn Caps (6 Weeks) A part that I would have thought you would always keep on the shelf.

Hey! I just discovered that I work two blocks away from them. I will have to drop by during lunch and check the place out. In fact, they are almost next to Art Carr's California Performance Transmissions.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. This is exactly why we became a supporting vendor of this forum. Recently, it seems the positive things regarding Classic Industries' move into the Mopar industry have generated a lot of interest throughout the Mopar community. And, we want our valued customers to know that along with this growth, we will continue to make any necessary adjustments along the way to ensure that we provide Mopar owners with a wide selection of products, competitive prices and the best service possible.

For those who mentioned having issue with the website, please note that we are aware of the issues mentioned and have plans to greatly increase the speed, efficiency and usability of the site. An all-new website has been under development for quite some time. This new site will be launching very soon and will remedy many of the issues.

We are also aware that during sale periods, we have occasionally experienced longer than normal order processing times. But, we consider this to be out of the ordinary for Classic Industries, and attribute it to the higher than normal order volume. Rest assured that we are taking the necessary steps to remedy this situation as well. Under normal circumstances, we pride ourselves in getting orders out the door within 24-48 hours. And, we believe that any time frame longer than that is still the exception to the rule.

Regarding the acorn caps for Rally wheels, we do stock a large qty of these cap sets to fit various year ranges and in a variety of colors. We have many sets in stock currently. However, we believe that recently, the manufacturer may be having longer than average lead times on this particular product, resulting in a backorder situation for our customers on the most popular year ranges and colors. We have adjusted our inventory stocking levels on these items to a higher level to compensate for the longer than normal lead times. This means we will order a larger quantity and stock a larger quantity to try to compensate for the manufacturing/supply chain issues. This adjustment should reduce the chance of backorders on this key item in the very near future.

Thanks again to all of you for the valuable feedback. We feel fortunate to be a part of this community and we welcome your comments any time. Whether it is a product suggestion or a comment about your experience, we would love to hear it. Please feel free to PM us here whenever you would like to comment about Classic Industries and we will respond to each request or comment.

Good luck to all of you. We appreciate your business.

Best Wishes,

Glad you joined and are watching!

Your website is a bit of a pain as you have acknowledged.

There is a lot worst out there. Hope you grow and realize the MOPAR market is out there and E and B bodies are not the only game.

i nearly soiled my pants when i got a pm from classic industries about the catalogue.

Suprised they are watching and keeping track.

A+ rating for them :)
