Another one bites the dust

:banghead:Magazines, don't ............. do research anymore?

What makes you think any magazine ever did?

Amateur radio:

I have a correction in a 1930's mag with a simple one-tube transmitter with a grand total of about 10 parts. The original article had a mistake in the diagram

Old Hot Rod/ etc:

Years ago, I think Pop Hot Rodding (the guys who brought you "Project X" gag it forward had "Project Coupe" 'er some damn thing. I can still remember them showing "the proper way" to shorten a driveshaft --by cutting the tube in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (EDIT seems to have been "Project '32")

Gun magazines. Like all the rest, any review/ test/ opinion NEVER seriously damages any of their advertisers

So take your pick. There's no "journalistic integrity," there's no real honesty, accuracy, 'er any other thing.
