the 15x7 4-28-86 JJTB 4112
15x6 10-3-2005 JJ DOT CUSTOM

I'm going to finish the cleaning of the sandblast today

V dart .... you say that these were custom made in the past ... who made them ?
Where did you get the stampings from on the rim ... typically the stampings are on the part that usually gets discarded when wheels are custom made .... they only keep the center section and weld in a new ring ... I am a little confused.. Please clarify ... i am interested ...
Thanks V dart...

here is pictures of the wheel stamping. top is 15x6 wheels

not stock you can see the date, looks like 2005. I say they are aftermarket.
still great rims

sorry, I thought I posted the dates-- the 15x6 are 2005 the 15x7 are1986

How does the dog dish attach on to those wheels? I love the baby moon or dog dish type wheels but have never had any. Do they pop on? I have seen some that had tabs that they pop into.

Correct not stock wheels they put a new ring on the factory centers. I have them on my black car w/ diff BS. Specialty wheel in Portland used to do them, they did mine, but went out of business over a year ago. I am not sure if Stockton Wheel makes them or not. Dog dish fits like a normal wheel since the centers are.

Specialty Wheel didn't go out of business , they were bought by Coker and moved the manufacturing operations to CA. They just don't do the " cut outs " any more. I would say the lawyers and insurance people told Coker , that was a No-No.

Cannot see why that would be a NO NO .... STOCKTON builds NICE wheels ... i have never had an issue with Stockton .. or heard of Stockton wheels coming apart .... Stockton still in business ... changed ownership... as far as i know ..
You are going to have a hard time selling these wheels for that price ... You will need to put those on a balancer and make sure they are not bent in any way .... and gurantee they are not bent to seller ...
Stockton will stretch a wheel for 135 ... you supply center ... Just being honest ... GLWS
