I like having my contours defined, that's my only defense. I may be swayed to keep it as it is though, especially if it's too finicky a job....

Personally, I would not drill or add any studs and just use the 72-up adhesive style, but if one didn't want to do that, studs is definitely better than drilling holes, so thanks for pointing that out!
