It's just over assisted. Put a stage 2 or 3 in or even the mod one of the magazines did and you will have the best of both worlds.

I was going to attempt the mod the magazine called for a long time ago but my car had a different brand pump in it. Can't remember the name but it wouldn't have worked for that.
