My 67 GT driver is just that ...a very solid driver. An original 273 GT console car, It's got a 360 magnum crate that's very clean and go's great, the interior is exceptionally good original but the vinyl top is a 47 year old cracked and dried covering. The passenger side quarter is rough, to say the least, from some 30 year old body filler that's now bubbling in spots but the paint's still pretty good.
My favorite responses are from old folks and kids. The old folks remanisce about how much fun thay had in theirs and the kids love the sound and look of such a clean old car.
The only head scratching experience I've ever had was at a show, when a guy and his buddy were walking around it picking it to pieces and saying "what a nice car it could be....too bad it has these defects". These guys were in their 40's I'd guess. Surely did make me chuckle.
