I have a set of hi-po 340 exhaust manifolds for sale.....passenger side 2863549 with a date code of 8/22/69.....No cracks or repairs anywhere....really nice with minimal pitting....heat riser is still there and the butterfly and still works...nice and free.....the return spring is still there and works also....the one bushing is missing on the one side of the shaft though and also half the butterfly plate is missing.......this is the nicest passenger side manifold I have ever had.......The drivers side 2863553 has a date code of what looks like 7/4/69 .....the guy I purchased these from said they both came from the factory on the same motor in a 70 model 340 car...so it was probably a very early 1970 model car....The drivers side also has minimal pitting but appears to have a crack around the bend on the number 1 runner....it is on the outside of the bend.....I haven't run these so I don't know if it leaks or not but it can be welded if necessary....I took a close up of the area in question.....I tried to look inside the runner to see if I could see the crack on the inside but it was too far around the bend for me to see.......I will sell the set for 450.00 + shipping or I would split them up.....300.00 + shipping for the passenger side which is in good shape, the harder one to find, and more valuable....and 150.00 + shipping for the drivers side which has the crack and more common.....postal M.O. works for me...

420.00 for the set + shipping ....passenger 280 + shipping 140.00 + shipping for the drivers side

Don't know....It honestly looks like it was cast that way from the factory....But it does look like a crack from the outside.....need a tiny mirror with angle tip to look inside and see what it looks like on the inside...Honestly if I was going to use this manifold I would grind this down flush and see what it looked like and weld it if necessary....The area is actually raised a little ....like it blew outward....don't know the history of it so I can't comment on it

400.00 set + shipping......275.00 + shipping for passenger side ...125.00 + shipping for the drivers side....

Looks like an old repair. That spot even has a different surface than the rest of the manifold.

It definitely isn't an old repair....It is raised only on one side and goes right back into the manifold and the symetrical pattern of the metal itself matches all the way around.....It just looks like it blew outward.....If I get a chance I will take some better pics of the area in question

Looks like water laid in the bend and froze to me???? Pour some water or better yet laquer thinner threw it and see if it leaks..........

Don't know the history so maybe water did freeze and push out......not sure......anyway, I did run water inside and I get a drip about every 20 seconds so it will have to be repaired for sure....

In the above photo, the exhaust flange directly above the faulty area in the manifold on the inside bolt appears in the photo to have a crack, might just be the angle.
