People's comments

My Challenger is pretty much always called a "Charger" at the gas station. Heck even by people I know. I don't mind too much, at least they figured it was a Mopar. But considering they think its a '68-70 Charger (I get the Dukes comments too), I don't see the resemblance. Occasionally it gets called a 'Cuda, and once and awhile I hear its a Camaro, but not that often. I do get asked a lot if I have a big block, which is funny because I've just got a basically stock 318 in it. With the glasspacks its pretty loud, but it definitely doesn't sound like a big block.

Haven't spend much time out on the road in the Dart's or the Duster. I did have someone yell "Al Bundy!!!!!" from their driveway at the top of their lungs as a took the Duster out for its first drive with the 318. That was pretty awesome. I suspect once I get the Duster back on the road though I'll hear all the Nova comments. I kinda see the resemblance to the '68-74 Nova's. About the same size car, similar looking fastback style back end, etc. Not that I've ever mistaken one for the other, but I can see how somebody that wasn't into Dusters or Nova's could do it. Heck, if you can mistake a '72 Challenger for a '68 Charger, why not right?

Was that you burning some rubber on Eureka last Friday? I was going to get my tires balanced in Roseville when I heard something loud and mean...I look over and see the back of a blue Challenger turning the corner with some tire smoke behind it.
