I would never use junk like that. Use 2 weatherproof relays like the ones supplied a painless kit for instance. Use a grounding GM style sensor in the intake. No problems ever. Easy bypass in case the sensor fails.
I was thinking the same thing but how do you know the on/off temps? The control box is adjustable so I guess it dont matter, just so long as the sender has 2 wire hook up?
