Is the 1969 Barracuda convertible wheel well trim the same for al 67, 68, 69 Barracudas? I've been told that the 68 trim is longer than 67 69 because the rocker trim is different.

I am not aware that the wheel well trim is different between any of the 67 to 69 Barracuda body styles. I bought some off a fastback for my convertible but haven't tried it yet. Subscribed to learn if there is a difference.

Laysons catalog lists that the 68 trim needs modification to work with 67 69. All be its not the holy grail of answers but they note a difference. I need to get a used set for a buddy and don't want to waste $$$ on the wrong ones.

That would only be the case with the rare finned louvers that most 68s didn't come with. There is a notch cut out of it and it is very noticeable.

as Okla said that is only IF you're using the '68 "Gill and spear" rocker moldings would you need to make any modifications to the wheel trim.

Fastback, coupe and Vert trim are all the same also.

yes, 68 barracuda did come with three different sizes of wheel trim. What went with what, I could not tell you. Just the short with the rocker gills.

In other words, if you don't have any rocker trim, they would all be the same.

No!
There is a long and a shorter one, beside the for the rocker trim. I have all thee styles.

corrected
one is for the rocker grill
2nd just a little longer possible for the one piece rocker molding in 68 very rare
3rd is standard

The 1967, 1968 and 1969 Mopar parts manuals bring up the following part numbers for all body styles. I never did find the part number for the wide rear moulding for the 1968 so it must be part of some package. Might be two packages that use the wide mouldings??? IDK.

1967
front wheel well mouldings are 2807876 and 2807877
rear wheel well mouldings are 2809692 and 2809693

1968
front wheel well mouldings are 2807876 and 2807877
rear wheel well mouldings are 2809692 and 2809693 without wide moulding.

1969
front wheel well mouldings are 2807876 and 2807877
rear wheel well mouldings are 2809692 and 2809693

here's pictures,
I believe it is for the one piece rocker molding in 68 only (Rare)

I've also heard that some 68 Spear Molding car have full length well lip moldings and a slightly shorter spear molding.

Mine had shorter well lip moldings that stopped at the spear.
