Quick question trans linkage between power train options in Mopar vehicles

I 'm gonna try and cheat & ask instead of research first:

Are the linkage rods different lengths BETWEEN

A833 four speeds (or three speeds apples to apples),

in an engine conversion, any Big-small block-/6 - setup,

within the same model car?

(separate cases between: A, B, F bodies, Mopar whatever),

Does the transmission (say bell housing location, or even under carriage position)
move forward or backward within the same model car in different power train configurations?

I wanna swap a 360 into a slant six volare/aspen and am not sure how the setup positioning will work. I have a 400bb that might go into the car in the distant future.
