I used that style nylon mechanical fan for a couple of years.. It did not pull nearly enough air thru the radiator for my application.. Went to a Derale flex fan, with lots of blade pitch and the air flow is dramatically better. Motor runs at 180 on a 180 thermostat, rarely gets to 190 even in heavy traffic.
