hate to tell u this, but, the 426 hemi`s were being tested in late 63. were available in 64 superstockers. petty was kickin *** w/ them in 64-5-6-7-8. had a distant cousin used to drive test cars for chysler back when he was a pup, he said he would wear out a set of rear tires every 8 hr. shift on the hemis back in 63-4!---------bob:toothy7:
