Sox and Martin 1967

Mr. 1967 Formula S

In 1967, Sox & Martin were busy 'barn-storming' across the Country with
their '3 Super Stock Cars, competing at all the National Events,
Match-Racing, as well as performing Car Clinics.

If at all, they did additional testing with a new Race Car , it was most likely at the end of 1967.

In October/November 1967, they did put together a 'new' and soon to be released 1968 '383 Road Runner', which was built for upcoming 1968 NHRA 'Stock Class' for E/Stock, as well as the '426 Hemi' Road Runner.

back in the day, i ran 67 belvedere GTX in superstock. it ran superstock D/Auto in nhra, E/auto in ahra. small time, mostly local, did set the ahra record at tulsa w/ a broken intake valve spring on # 5, I think it was.----------------bob:coffee2:
