List The Mopars You Missed Out On...

Back in the early 80's I had a chance to buy a 1970 Challenger RT that was loaded. 440, Auto on floor, Vitamin C paint, Burnt orange interior, 6-way driver seat, Gator Grain vinyl top, sun roof, air conditioning, luggage rack, electric windows, ps, pb, cruise control, AM/FM, & rear defrost. Cragar SS rims and had a brand new paint job for $3,500. It was getting almost 20 mpg. We believe it was a promo car. Only option it didn't have was the factory 8-track. But one owner lost the 2 data tags so it was undocumented. But we knew they were all legit factory options.

Around the same time a 1969 Dart GTS 383 Dark Metallic Green for $4,000. All original but had fender-well headers. Wasn't a big fan of green at the time. During that time I was restoring a 1970 'cuda AAR Rallye Red, 4-speed, and my daily driver was a 1970 'cuda 440 6-barrel, 4-speed, Vitamin C, Shaker hood, and 3.55 Dana. And letting the good times roll.
