i garantte if i had some 4.10 or 4.56 gears i would spank the piss out of his 6.0 vortec. but i know its a truck, just hard not to romp around it this engine moves it along quite well. but i always ask questions here because most you guys are running the magnum small blocks in your a body cars i have learned alot here.

Why not buy one from your mopar dealer part number

i run my vaccum advance off of manifold vaccum, i have it set to add 10 degrees of timing at idle. I run 14 degrees initial timing plus another 10 degrees from vaccum advance for a total of 24 degrees of timing at an idle and my total timing is set at 32 degrees.

why shoot your self in the foot on MPG? with that set up you might as well just run all mechanical. the point of vac advance is for at high vacuum like cruise you get more timing ON TOP of your mechanical. so what you really want it 14* or so initial, 32 total after mechanical around 2500, THEN another 10 to 15* of vacuum adv. granted if your right on the edge with your DCR your vac adv total might be less

Their web site now says they have a 3 year warranty for original purchaser.

But I will stick with my MSD 6AL

had nothing but problems with fbo hrr688. i even tested it in two of my other cars to make sure it wasnt my cars wiring or my fbo distributor. I had it ion car for two mnths and never even drove car on street. I was told to send it back could be 6-8 weeks for a replacement. i finally said to hell with it an bought msd street fire cdi box. car runs perfect now.:D

Email me you real name I want to look this up, I don't recall this issue but a name might help.
