Here's a new one for me, OIL:cheers: Just went thru neighbors hoarder garage and found cases of oil, most in cans. Clean, not rusty, top and bottom are metal, sides are a cardboard like material. These are the ones you need a church key to open. Here's the starter list, more to follow once I get it organized_
19- Castrol GTX SAE 20/50 #122- $ 2.25 qt
11-Castrol HD SAE 30 #172- $2.50 qt
19- Castrol HD SAE 40 #182- $ 2.25 qt (plastic)
10- Exxon Superflo 10w-40 -$ 3.00 qt (plastic)
2- Quaker State SAE 30- $ 2.25 qt
OK, and these are neat-
2- Quaker State SAE 30 ALL metal cans, collector/shelf art quality-$7 ea
From what I've seen online a quart goes for $5.50 +/- so I think the asking prices are reasonable.

The rest looks like onesy-twosy's so may just buy them for me. No filters but a crap load of spark plugs. Once I sort them I'll throw on here.
Shipping- I've never shipped oil so don't know what if anything is different BUT I will be at Carlisle so can bring there free if pre-paid. I'm not hauling all this back and forth.
PM me here with questions, and thanks for the Ad!:downtown:
I'm in Columbia Md. and No, you can't change your oil in my driveway

Do you have any pictures? And would you mix match different cans? I would like some but would like to see them first.

Take as many and which ever you want. I can get pics on Sunday. Shoot me a PM of which ones you'd like.
Also shipped or Carlisle?
Thanks, Bob

think you may want to check with post office before shipping, Canada post doesn't allow flammable or combustible liquids and I think USPS has the same rules

I got 10 quarts of comp cam's breakin oil from Jegs and it shipped ups, but that is here in the US don't know about Canada

i will tak one of each of the old cans. not the plastic. usually if shipped by ground, no issues. can not ship by air last i checked. let me know please. tks mike

Oil is the same as a block of wood as far as combustion, its shipping the liquid that may require special shipping requirements.

ok, so far 75dartsport is in for an as to be determined amount and Mikess68 I think is in for 5. I'll have pics Sunday so if anyone wants a pic PM me your cell or email, prefer to message because of GB costs.
Thanks All!

I'm interested in what you have, but I think shipping would be the deal breaker. I still use the heck out of this oil in my flat tappet camshaft small block. No need to use zinc additive. I find it at the swap meet usually for a dollar a quart, and try to buy all of it. Last time I bought 3 cases. LOL

I would also like 1 of each of the non plastic ones. Let me know an approximate shipping cost to 66087.

Ok, got a pic of the cans. The 40 weight ended up being plastic bottles. Guess I shoulda opened the case before I opened my mouth. I'll be weighing and measuring today so should be able to quote shipping. A buddy told me that each can will have to be in a plastic bag, bubblewrapped, and a decent cardboard box. Anyone else have directions? Also to get pics I'll need to send them to your cells so if I don't already have it PM me. Iphone email is F-ing up again.

OK, just mail out 6 to Mikess68 ( thanks dude). Post office wants well protected and bagged, either individually or totally with extra box padding. So anyone on the fence send me your zip and I can calculate the cost.75Dartsport I'll have your info to you today.
Thanks again, Bob
