The motor is finally on the stand!
Now I can start degreasing this pig. Anybody have a easy way to degreas the outside of the block and the stripped down heads? I've used Super Clean in the past but its still time consuming as all get out. I also got my garage a bit more organized today, slid the car over against the wall so I could have more room to work around it.
And accomplished one last thing today....I installed the new front seal and slapped a new gasket on the timing cover. Icing in the cake, got the timing cover installed! I know i sounds stupid but this is the first time in months I managed to put a piece back on the motor.
