Air gap versus MP M1?

If you were looking to build a street thumpin 408 stroker that runs on pump gas which intake is your choice? I was looking at the M1 but was told it is more of a race intake. Opinions?

Hi bud, i'm running the M1 on my 340 in the Valiant and love it! Got a 650 DP carb and a 1" carb spacer, 505 Isky cam, car has a 4-speed and 4.10's and pulls hard to 6,500 RPM where I have the rev limiter set at....works perfect on the street or track, this car sees lots of street miles too :glasses7:

I also have the Eddy Air Gap on the 340 in my 74 Satellite, that has a 509 cam with a 750 Holley, 727 auto and 3.91 gears, works sweet! I have had a few intakes on this engine and the Air Gap seems the best for this heavier car and combo, runs great on the street.

In your Cuda, I would throw a M1 on that stroker :burnout:
