Jeep high back buckets or A100 van seats?

I agree with your assessment of 70-back and 70+. The '70s body style does not match the mid-'60s seat aesthetic.

I had a bench with a floor shifter. It was all the way back and could not be adjusted because the shifter body was right up against the front of the seat. Plus it literally weighed 100lbs.

Here's a pic I dug up of an A100 seat in a Duster from a Steve Magnante article. Hard to see the overall effect but to me, it's out of place. Not grossly, but just enough to be slightly off.


That looks better than a tall back bucket seat any day. :)
