So I'm trying to sell my Barracuda. I just need to move on to the next thing that the whole family might enjoy more or just pay down some debt.

This should not last very long.......

BTW, watched the video. What kind of mufflers are you running? 2.5" pipes? Sounds great.

Why can't you be 1000 or so miles closer. That's exactly what I'm looking for and in my price range.

I just saw a fender today, too!

Too bad I hadn't seen this before I bought mine! Great car! Glendive.

Yes I still have it, I have been busy with my high school reunion the last few days. I know Missoula is kind of out of the way but Glendive is worse LOL, although Frank in North Dakota would prefer Glendive.
I have been driving this car every day. It poured rain a few days ago and it still did good, it did have a few drops of water drip from the vent door at the driver's foot. It has a few clunks on bumps, I think the exhaust is banging sometimes, it's just clamped with the kit from summit 2.5" whatever mufflers come with it, not welded with an added 2.5 H pipe. The gas gauge only goes to 3/4 when full, as you use it it goes lower, but at some point it just drops to zero even though it still has gas. I had the dash and taillights blow the fuse a few nights ago, but put in a new fuse and seem to be back working but haven't been out at night much.
I have added a correct battery hold down, and put back on the washer nozzles, but my washer bottle is just to ugly to put in that pretty engine bay. I do have a working foot pump. The hood turn signals are not working, nor are the little front side marker lights.
Pretty fun, but if I'm going to use this every day I need overdrive, AC and some tunes.
I sold both my Jeep and my Duramax so I'm not hurting to sell this, just my family would enjoy something else more then this and I'm ready to move on.

Price drop to $5500.
I have the blood and sweat into this, now buy it from me so I can say blood, sweat, and TEARS!

I could drive it to Sweatgrass Montana on the boarder with Alberta on highway 4. I don't have or want a passport so that's all the further us Montana folk can go.

I did go downtown for a cruise last weekend at night and the lights were working right. I think I just had an old fuse. The water on the floormats in the picture is not from the leak, the leak is just a few drops after sitting in the rain all day, that moisture is from my shoes after I had been washing the car. I also painted the rest of the stripe in on the passenger fender where it was missing.

If you notice, the drivers door is black on the inside and silver in the jam. Many years before I had it that door was hit and replaced and they didn't paint the panel or the jam. The striker is also weak on that door and the windows on that side aren't smooth as they should be. The other side works much better and is straighter except that front fender.

Sometimes I think I should get some simple body work done and cover up all these flaws but I would rather have a nice interior or at least new front seats first. At least you can see what is under the paint. The car has been repainted by Maaco in Kent WA Oct. 1992. And the door and body work was done a month before that by a guy named Scott Jacobson in Renton WA. This car seems like it was well used on the mean streets of Seattle it's whole life up till I got it. It's never had the luxury of being a trailer queen! To me the body fits its function just fine.

Still for sale here, I'm starting to think I may get to keep this car a while longer! It is fun, starting to get the bug to find a drag strip but we don't have any close.

Still got it, I got everything else sold I wanted to, my truck, my camper, my boat, and two jet skis on a trailer, so I'm more solid on the price. I still would like to sell this, I'm going to Seattle in a week, anybody there interested?

oh and I see the craigslist ad is done here is a newer one

It is still for sale ? How is the frame rails ? I ask it, because I saw many ones with front, and rear rails with rust problems. Very nice car to restore !

I believe the rails are solid. I got a good look at the front ones when doing all the suspension work. The bumper bolts and k frame bolts all came out w/o braking or other drama. I took some pictures of the rear and they are on that fliker album. They seem the same as the front. I think I drilled one for an exhaust clamp and it was solid. The driver's side is the worst of it. It was hit on that side and judging by receipts cost only $600 to replace the door, do body work, and paint the whole car. That was in the early 80s but $600 shows it was no pro job and a Macco paint over.

Apparently the latest craze on fabo classified is to ask what you have in your car. In that case not counting any labor I have $7500 in receipts so I guess the price is now $7500. I also have the "rare" 318 that came out of the car I'll throw in for free!
Just kidding! For the $5500 I will throw in all the misc parts I have, that running 318 with something like 25k on it, the old suspension and k frame, a bunch of duster parts, a 727 and a hp rebuild it from Cope, a box of misc odds and ends.

Front seats are bad, need covers and foam rebuilt, the back seat is great, the dash pad is good, the lower part has a few small cracks, I have a pair of unbroken vent covers, the door panels are starting to curl a bit the drivers rear is the worst as it looks like that window is/was leaking. The carpet is faded all over and falling apart in the Fastback part, the headliner has some good tears but patched up Frankenstein style. The wheel is pretty chipped up from somebody's long nails. The dash was yellowed but I took it apart and made it look better with silver paint but the chrome is gone. Basically it needs all the soft parts but the dash pad and rear seat to be really nice, I personally would just do the front seats and Fastback carpet.
I can take better pictures of whatever you want.
