Can anyone tell me the tire my 69 Dart GT came with new? What is the best replacement? Coker Wide Oval? Poly/Glass? Pretty sure it is E 70-14? I'm looking for a Redline tire.
Thanks

I think the Firestone Poly/Glass bias ply tire's look more original but it
looks like the BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial 205/70/R14 might be the way to go.
Any thought's? Pro's/con's?

Nice looking Dart! Got any other pictures to post? Seems like E70/14 or D70/14 is the likely size that came on the car - depending on the wheels (14x5.5in), dish hub caps, or mag style hub caps. Could have been white walls, got the build sheet?

They are correct, but let me give you a warning. Firestone Wide Ovals will get the **** killed out of you on wet pavement. You have been warned.

Thanks for the replies.
I agree, the Wide Ovals look great but the ride quality would definitely suffer.
I decided to go with the BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial 205/70/R14 on the factory steel wheels with the Dog Dish cap's.
I have Rally's on the car now and love the look but also always liked the painted steelies.
