I have an extra set of SBP 8 3/4 rear axles (prob needs new bearings) I could live without, also, possibly a pair of loaded rear drum brake assemblies with backing plate for the same rear, but missing drums. I don't have any extra cash to cover the shipping (USPS Parcel is cheapest), if somebody wants to donate shipping $ the parts could find a new home. :glasses7

Why is a floor hump needed? If it is because of the shifter/console brackets I am including them with the shifter.

Karl, this is really great. Any ideas where an engine is coming from?

He has a nice 72 340 block. That's it as far as engine parts go.

We need to gather everything else. I have some parts that I can throw in, but I'm waiting to see what we can gather so I can give something that someone else couldn't to avoid doubling up on parts.

I'm thinking a cam around a 272°/278° Lunati, Crane, Eddy, Comp Cam, MP cam would be nice. I will throw in a set of Rhoades lifters and a LD340 intake.

I prefer not to use old rods with used bolts, You never know how many times they've been clamped and can be put into yield and breaking.

Or if someone has a good engine (don't donate your junk) that we can use instead of piece by piece.

He already has the floorboards cut out. The front floorboards are cut out from one side to another including the trans tunnel. He has a 4 speed hump, but he would like to run your floor shifter. I am going to try to check my trans stash and see if I have a v-8 cable shift 904 so we can use that with the shifter.

We are in the "see what we can do" stage right now. As people can offer up parts, then we can start leaning toward one plan or another.

Hey guys, this is killing me not being able to help out, either being there as a wise-***, or donating $$. What I can offer is something towards a fundraiser?? Considering how widespread we are with FABO, I would say quite a few members might be able to donate something for a fundraiser??

Bless all you guys, this is amazing!

Yes, Bill. I think an early 273 radiator will be the best bet. Then we can use 68-69 timing chain cover with cast iron water pump so the hoses will be lined up correctly.

The correct radiator is the only thing I do have for an early A that would help with this build. I bought it from a guy doing a stroker conversion and it is supposed to be good. I would want to take it and have it pressure checked to make sure it isn't leaking before shipping it. I would be willing to donate it (if it checks out) but due to medical bills I can't cover the shipping. If anyone is willing to help with the shipping I am in.

I appreciate everything guys, I never expected all the help from everyone,
I would love to go disc brakes, Im also in need of two front fenders, and to reply to the last post, I have no wheels or tires, I might have a deal coming up soon to get an altekation front end, and street lynx rear suspension, I should know by the end of August, If that's the case then we can work on getting some brakes and steering column, maybe some gauges and a wiring harness.

First thing is to get all the metal work done, floor pans, rear quarter patches, rear cross member, torque boxes, sub-frame connectors, wheel tubs.
I have a nice Hobart mig welder, and can help out a little, just need a good metal worker to make sure its done right.

Well I appreciate all the help everyone, and looking forward to meeting all you guys and having a good time, Thanks guys
Shannon

Does anybody have a clean set of fenders that they can donate?

Keep in mind you dont have alot of parts for your car . If we cant come up with the parts its going to be hard to even get this off the ground man hang in there lets see what happends .

We have had some people contact me on donationg some parts. I think that we should post up what parts you are willing to donate and let Shannon choose which directions we need to go. Then you can send any parts directly to Shannon and get his address by PM'ing him.
