What about just converting to a floor shift?
A manual floor shift? If he did that, he would have to change to a different style 3-speed trans like the newer a-body cars used...not a bad idea either Mike. But, an automatic might be nice too, car would still move out good, maybe get a different converter and swap in a set of rear gears....I always hated my 3 on the tree in my car, only thing I miss about it was the comments I got from other people saying how they remembered those LOL
Mike, if you decide to do the auto swap and want the automatic brake pedal, I know where some cheap ones are. Otherwise, you can always leave your pedal in and tie up the clutch pedal, your brake pad will be smaller but you might be used to it anyway. Leaving the existing pedal in would be easier and save some time and $ :glasses7:
