Looking at a Trans for Victoria need input.

Good thing you didn't move forward with the later trans swap. The early crank will not fit a later transmission, because of the torque converter's nose being too large. I just went through this with my engine, since although it was a later engine, it had an early crank. I had to get a custom torque converter built by Hughes Performance and also needed the early flexplate.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the crank on a slant setup for manual transmissions may be different than one from an automatic. Though it may just be that there's an insert that just needs taken out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
