What's it really worth?

When your phone number is 1-866-LAMBORGHINI, and you're a dealer........and you've probably been watching too much Fast 'N Loud and B-Jackson......there is no shame.

That is a thing of beauty. All that detail, why would they not turn the pie tin around?

Anyway, I notice they say that's the "Internet price". I'll bet the "I'm standing here in front of you with cash in my hand" price would be lower.

For that price even the tires and battery should be correct.

Not even worth half of the asking price --- there are way better cars - original H code 1970 340 Swingers - for less than 1/2 that price...

Hey does this mean my 70 dart swinger 318 # matching is worth 20K?

With 38 k I bet that car does close to that at a classic auction. Where do you find another one with 38k original?

If it only had 38K original miles, then why did it need restoration.

It's been all taken apart and has a so-so restoration done on it. Original miles are sort of moot at this point. Unless there were pre restoration pictures showing/proving the parts are original and proving assembly marking are original (although they did not put them back on in this resto)

Nice ~$25K car. $25K because the underside is painted and shiny. Lacks detail.

The red 71 Duster 340 4 speed for sale by a member here is a much much better deal, light years better resto, and a more desirable car.

I agree that car is beautiful, but not worth the asking price IMO. That window sticker isn't right... Is it? It says final assembly in Michigan. Weren't all 70 swingers built in windsor?? (Makes me think that window sticker is a remake)

You are right. The Windsor plant made all of the '70 340 swingers and this one has the ''R'' code in the serial number on the door and the fender tag to prove it.......
The window sticker is a reproduction, the original ones wouldn't look that pristine.
The engine code on the bottom left corner should be E55 but has 9355, which could be a factory goof up, but it also might be a reproduction too.
A little too over restored in my opinion, but it is a beautiful car.
It also has the rare glove box trim delete option as well as the other faults that were previously mentioned.
For 48 grand as an asking price, it should be a gold standard car, which it isn't.
What a great car to drive to a show and enjoy on nice days, but it's probably worth only 30 grand or so in today's market.
Just my 2 cents for what it's worth. :evil4:
