What's it really worth?

I agree that car is beautiful, but not worth the asking price IMO. That window sticker isn't right... Is it? It says final assembly in Michigan. Weren't all 70 swingers built in windsor?? (Makes me think that window sticker is a remake)

You are right. The Windsor plant made all of the '70 340 swingers and this one has the ''R'' code in the serial number on the door and the fender tag to prove it.......
The window sticker is a reproduction, the original ones wouldn't look that pristine.
The engine code on the bottom left corner should be E55 but has 9355, which could be a factory goof up, but it also might be a reproduction too.
A little too over restored in my opinion, but it is a beautiful car.
It also has the rare glove box trim delete option as well as the other faults that were previously mentioned.
For 48 grand as an asking price, it should be a gold standard car, which it isn't.
What a great car to drive to a show and enjoy on nice days, but it's probably worth only 30 grand or so in today's market.
Just my 2 cents for what it's worth. :evil4:
