Hey guys I got my top in today and it looks good. Can someone tell me what this is for though? It's the only piece I'm not sure about. Is it a header pad? It's a long piece of round foam wrapped in top fabric.

that piece(yellow letters) and should be sewn on the ends to stop water collection goes UNDER the header seal metal channel(purple line) so that when you put the top up and latch it the seal gets hidden.(purple arrow) View attachment !!!!!!!!!header seal and cover.jpg
so if it isn't on the car now you have to remove the header seal , metal channel and corner pieces (metal also) add the seal and reverse assembly.
