I've found it's sometimes it's best to work with what you already have, then move on to something else after you complete the first project.
I always liked the Shelby Dodges. As a matter of fact, I once owned 46 Shelby Dodges at one time! They are addictive, just like a-bodies. And a properly running turbo car is a wonderful thing to drive!
I bought 2 Shelby Dakota trucks new, then got a Shelby Charger for a daily driven, then a Shelby lancer, then...........the next thing I knew I owned 46 of them. Too many to take care of, of course. I also had all kinds of bad luck that let me to finally sell of all of them. I had some stored in a building and they were all vandalized, the ones I had outside were hit by a huge hailstorm, and a tree fell on one.
I sold most of them probably 8 or 9 years ago. I kept the trucks I bought new until I sold one last year and one the year before.
One I really wish I had kept was the '88 Daytona pilot car. Not only was it the first '88 Daytona built (s/n 00001), it was also a Shelby (C-1 PILOT).
Good luck with your project.
