did you clean then pre lube them before assembly?
did you prime the engine before starting?
did you check for oil up top?
we need more before just jumping on board...
I think the file test is information enough , but if you want to withhold judgement , be my guest.
My mistrust of offshore parts has nothing to do with a group of people who wear pajamas during the day and eat with sticks.
Their metallurgy has a history of being real ****.
And that is all I need to know.
They have gotten a lot better , that is for sure.
But I don't know that getting worse was even an option.
Compstar and Scat have some really good parts........but they cost more.
Buying the bottom of the barrel , cheapest part you can find has consequences. Not all are severe , but none are good.
