Thanks guys glad yall like it.... Im not done yet but this was huge. A few guys I really need to thank. Not singling anyone out but these guys have been in chat for years beating info into me, Scott, Rob, Tony, Rob, John, Curtis, Randy last but not least Bruce RIP. These guys have listened to all my questions even the ones i asked 10x.

Brought to my attention that I was a poser because I don't plan to race this car when I'm done. This car was never intended to be a race car. It was vision I had as a kid of all the 90's pro streeter cars I grew up seeing in the magazines and at shows. So now I'm a bench racing poser! apparently! I'll keep my build to myself from now and finish what i have started. Thanks to all of you who have chimed in with your words of advice and wisdom.

Poser? More like you got some people's jealousy festering. That's, BS misery loves company screw them guys. Build the car how you want and make it your own like you plan. Fck em!

Your right Louis! I guess I missed the part about building a BB car and it had to be a racer. Most the parts that came my way were used and just happen to fit the bill so i built the car around those! I'm damn proud of what ive got. Tearing it up to race isnt economical for me. Sure someday it would be fun to have a drag car but money and time wont allow for that.

Hearing stuff like this really irks me... I just can't understand why some people feel the need to be jerks. I never got the impression you were building a race car here. I figured it was your intention to build something cool, fun, with bad *** and attitude written all over it. And in my opinion your succeeding nicely! You should be proud of what you've accomplished. Don't let a few bad apples sour the experience for you. A poser you are not. Someone following their vision and building what makes them happy, you are!

Poser?Your kidding right?Josh, you should be proud of your huge goals you,ve set on yourself...painting,welding,bodywork,interior(I know the wife did it)engine, trans, rearend you,ve done it all and yet this is your..first time owning a V8 car?My only suggestion to you is..Don,t mind the naysayers, you,ve done us proud getting this far on your own.Oh one more thing....please put some blankets on those new seats..cause you gonna mess them up once you hit that go pedal.LOL:D

New lokar throttle cable installed works great. Also fans installed with controller didnt get above 190. Got about 70lbs oil pressure warm. Ran for another 10min just to be sure cam is good and broke in. Sorry bout video quality its not smoke there was some crap on my camera lens i didn't see. I blipped the throttle a few times dont worry not over 3500rpm. [ame]http://youtu.be/QNwizHNIx9k[/ame]

I was allways under the impression that you was building a car that you could show and just have fun driving . O and to bring to the show in kansas lol looks good sounds good . I won't be out racing mine either took me almost three years to be we're I am with my build . And can't afford to have it broke and working on it all the time .

I agree with the below responses, your car is baddass and you should be very proud!! My Valiant was built using parts that I got on sale, ebay, or used parts, nothing big $, just did what I wanted and I am proud of my work so far. When I started talking to you in chat more Josh, you told me you never built a car before, or never had even driven a V8 car, after hearing this, I went through your entire build and was blown away by your skills and the work you have done!!! You accomplished alot and when it's done you will have a big grin on your face!!! I enjoy reading your new updates, and was excited to hear your car run, keep up the good work buddy!!!
