Hey all. The date is Sep 12-15. I plan to drive my 71 Swinger. I will be driving throu Madisonville KY down to Hopkinsville, KY. Then Clarksville and along I40. I would like to go in a group. Will be making a few stops along the way to rest the car. For me the ride is about 5 hours. I just hope my car will make it.
 
Not going to rod run. I think shades of the past is better.It is held the week before the rod run

Hey, stop in at Russellville! Always enjoy meeting fellow members! And I'd LOVE to see your car!! Wanna get a 70-72 dart myself, only ever seen ONE in person and that was only 2 months ago!! I don't have a car to take n likely won't have one road worth enough by then (if I have one at all) so I more than likely wont be goin.
 
Wish I could go. As you pass through Madisonville stop at Lowes if you have time. Love to see the car. I work in the lumber end. If you can, stop in and ask for Tom.
 
downsr-Better than Rod Run? I may try to go to that next year. A guy here goes every year, but I did not find out till after I booked the hotel.

Tom-I am in Madisonvill alot, just not with my car. But I will make a trip soon. Need to get the webs off the car.
 
Well plans are set for the 12-15. Benn hoping my son would be home from the Army to go, but not going to happen. But the good news is, my wife and I will have a great weekend!!!!!

Had a blast. The drive was 700 miles round trip, 23mpg. Car drove great, but did have a little issue. On the way home I had a rear wheel cylinder lock up. 30 Minutes to disable that wheel and finish the trip. I will get pics up this weekend. Still trying to get caught up round the house. There are a few cruise-ins this weekend, so gotta get my car fixed.

Glad you made it home safe. I wanted to go but wasn't able to go I haven't been in several years
