I am listing my 72 Challenger project car for sale or trade. I would trade for a running, driving fastback Barracuda plus cash. The Challenger is an original EV2 hemi orange, 318/904 with slapstick, front disk brakes. Factory air. Body and frame is very solid as are the doors, rockers, window channels, and firewall. Not a lot of rust repair required. $5000 just for the car or trade for a fastback valued around 10-12 K and pay you the difference in cash. I have clear Ohio title for the Chally. I am in SW Ohio near Dayton.

I will post some pics of the floors and trunk. Frame is good just surface rust. Trunk has pinholes. I pressure washed the inside today to check the floor and I think they can be saved. I'll try to get a decent underbody picture or two. The interior that came with the car is pretty worn. The seats look real good but the covers have some dryrot underneath. Stay tuned for pics.

Seems like a real good buy for an E body.

I thought it would sell for $ 5000 but due to the lack of interest I lowered the price. If it doesn't sell I'll start work on the car and give it to my wife for her 50th birthday next year. I pulled it out over the weekend and gave a good cleaning and wondered why I'm even selling her. (the car I mean)

Listed the car on Craigslist for $5900 and had two guys come look at it the first day. I will be taking a loss on the car so I feel like the price is in line. But it must be too high or it would already be sold.

Now that's funny!
How many miles are on her? (the car i mean)

$4500 doesn`t seem like a bad price at all for what you have. Did you post an ad over on F.E.B.O might get better luck there?

LOL, Well a sense of humor helps when your frustrated. The Chally's odometer shows 65,000 and I have no idea if that is actual.

Thanks, and keep your hopes up. A sense of humor is a great thing!
The car is worth the price and someone will buy it. The market is tough, and it might take some time.
My brother sold one last year that was almost identical to yours for 4 grand and it was way worse body wise with a lot more rust.
Good luck with the sale.

How is the cowl and hood hinge areas? How about the cowl sides?

Very solid where the hood hinges are bolted. No rust in any of these areas. Only rust in the front end is right where the battery tray was and its just a small hole.

Some repairs to the passenger door post. It does not appear to have gone any deeper than that. The door had been replaced.

I have a 67 Barracuda Fastback from Texas/Arizona. Original paint, all original, 273 4 speed, air, pdb, etc. Red on red. All original but has sat since the early 1970s. Have any interest in a trade? How do I contact you?
