Has anybody done this ... What back spacing did you use for clearance on 1969 Dart ..
 
You might want to rephrase the question. I have no idea what you mean. How can you widen an existing wheel, plus change the diameter?
 
remove center from 15" rim and weld in the center from a 14" rim.
backspace...depends on how wide your 15" rims are
 
If you have a jig, and a method to remove the SBP centers, then yes you can do it.

There is a company that sells wheel shells and you need to get the correct ID to make them work.
 
yes sbp 14 inch wheel center welded into 15 outer ring .. Stockton wheel does it .. just wanted to know who has done it ...

Taking a SBP wheel center and welding it in a 15 inch ring ... results would be a 15 inch sbp wheel ..
 
There is a shop in Livonia that does wheel work. I know they will widen stock wheels and may also be able to do what you are asking. If you search for them you should be able to find them. I do know they are in Livonia, or at least they were a couple of years ago.

The good part is they are somewhat local to you which certainly help with saving shipping costs.
