Hurst quarter stick

I'm looking to put a hurst quarter stick in my duster and I was wondering if anyone on the forum have used them. They good, bad? Hard to install? Just general info. I got a 727 auto trans and I'm looking at a pistol grip quarter stick (530-316-2009) on the jegs website to put in. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
 
I have one and like it. No problem with it so far(4 years).

I have one too and I like it alot .Just getting used to having a reverse shift pattern.
 
is yours a reverse pattern trans? make sure you get the right shifter. cant remeber off hand but its the B&M or the Hurst you can change the shifter gate. the hardest thing to get use to is putting the car in reverse. sometimes I find myself using 2 hands to select reverse.
 
Mine is the correct one and yeas I have problems getting it into reverse and I believe that is because I havent used it alot and I rtoo need to hands to get it into reverse.
 
Just wanted to update the thread. I have had the shifter installed for afew months now and it's great! Wish the detent was alittle stronger between 1 an 2nd gear and the price of it are my only complaints!
