The all new "It's time to get out and get fit" thread

Hey everyone. As a lot of you know, I recently had a back injury and required surgery. This whole event has really woke me up to getting into shape. I have decided that starting on Monday, Aug. 12 I am completely changing my life style and habits. I have already been working on eating better and working out, but that is my official start. Those that have met me, or seen pictures of me know that I am a large guy. I am 6'5 and tip the scales at 380lbs. My goal is, by my 32nd birthday, April 27 2015, to weigh in at between 200-215lbs... To celebrate the accomplishment, I will be going sky diving. :) I have started coming up with some rewards as I hit certain marks just so I have little extras to look forward to. Now here's what I am proposing, it's always easier to workout and to accomplish huge tasks if there is a group. I am wondering if there is anyone else on here that would like to do this with me. I also know it will be benificial to have a support group. It's isn't going to cost you any money to be a part of this, other than your own food and what not, it's just for extra motivation and support. Anyway, anyone that is interested, either post here or IM me, lets get healthy together!!!!

That's an excellent idea! I began drinking water instead of soda and tea and went from a 34" being tight to my 32" pants being loose! :D
