I would like to know that also since I am interested in replacing Eddy 600. Maybe someone will chime in, Joe

I've sold about 10 of them total, of all those one seems to be troubling and is likely going to be replaced; and a special thanks to bob for being understanding about it

this coming week i'll be taking the truck on a 50 mile trip to pick up a drum of methanol. I'll let you know how it goes. it should go as good as when I was going 40 miles 7 days in a row to get to my work ride. the problem occurred a week later driving around town and i'm 100% sure all is well now. for the price of the kit you can't beat it and david is great to deal with and was a big help in getting to the problem. today I know one heck of a lot more about tbi fuel injection then I did when he sent me the kit that's for sure. if any more of you folks are considering changing over to tbi you won't go wrong with one of his kits.

thanks for the info Bob. Please let us know what difference in made in mpg, power, starting and overall performance, Joe

anything for 440's that make 500hp+, maybe a dual TBI for a dual quad intake or a single plane dominator intake

mpg=up from 8 to 12

power= way more as the carb was a factory stock spread bore, tiny primaries.

starting=better because the carb took for ever to warm up.

over all performance=way better

I think david could come up with a dual quad set up easily. to me it seems like one of the tbi's would only need the injectors and regulator and the other stuff could be omitted.

thank you very much bob for the kind words; hope all is well

the only problem I seen with twin TBI is one set of injectors don't flow enough for the extra air, with 2 sets of injectors at idle its too much, you'd almost have to have a binery switch to allow power to flow only at 1/2 throttle or above

today I went and picked up the drum of methanol. it was about 40 miles one way, mostly highway, the system performed great with no problems.

the next test will be towing the hotrod to the strip next Wednesday. between the trailer, hotrod and truck it will be moving right at 10,000lbs.

I messaged David about something I'm working on,a dual tbi for my 451. It's non mopar. I scrounged up a pair of G.M truck tbi, wiring and computer. Why? Simple,it's widely available and easily modified.

About modifying it; I contacted this sight.

http://www.affordable-fuel-injection.com/

They told me that they have experience with this set up and have done it before. Affordable will mod the computer and wiring harness,I can rebuilt the tbi units myself.

But always looking to do things my way I found a chip modding wesight. I think it may be possible to burn a new chip that would control both tbi no problem, but not having any experience with this area would make it a black hole for me.Will likely just go with affordable, when I can afford it lol..

slant kit is in the works but I need to find a lean burn distributor to modify first a lean burn distributor unmodified won't work

I have acquired a 86/87 slant distributor which has the dual pickups - 1 for start and the other used after it's started. Is this the kind of distributor you're looking for to modify for the slant? If so I can send it to you as I'd like to get a kit for the slant.

if it doesn't have a vacuum pod on the distributor its what I'm looking for, I'm willing to work with you to create a /6 kit but it will take some work as I haven't done that yet

if your willing to send the distributor I will see If I can modify it, if it turns out I can't I will purchase it from you. if I can I will sell you a kit at a discount and allow you to test it as it will be the first one (after I check to see if it runs)

I'm more looking for a used one as all I will be using is the case and gear, the rest will be removed and a hall effect sensor from a 3.9 installed. I will be working with 65 darman to make a kit

sweet! i'm not ready yet anyways, but I really want to go EFI on my E body /6 project

First time I have seen this listing. Impressed by the reviews and performance. I think I will add this to my Demon build when the time comes. Thanks for all of your work on giving us Mopar Nuts an affordable alternative.
