I just flushed my 01 Dakota with 1 pound citric acid and system full of water. Drove it around, idled it and such for 1 hour. Then let it sit overnight. Ran it again for 1 hour. Drained, filled, ran and back flushed it 6 times. Filled it full of 50/50 pre-mix.

Worked great. Temps lowered slightly although it never got hot anyway but operating temp is about a needle lower under all circumstances.

I still want to add a spin on coolant filter kit.
