No, better than the street dom, the street dom is kind of a "lost" intake.. Any duel plane even the stock 340 will work better idle to 5K it may have a slightly better breathing above that but not much, you wont feel it. The torker or new torker II is much better for a warm engine if were talking single plane, the strip dominator is a lot better for a very hot 340/360 or especially a stroker. I have a 400hp 360 and my ported strip dominator is too much for this little motor.
