more than just a screen name

In college I created my first and only civilian email account: [email protected] . I had a difficult time coming up with a name for it so I used the character out of a fantasy series I read as a kid:Swords and Deviltry, Swords Against Death, Swords in the Mist, & many more by fantasy and science fiction author Fritz Leiber-his stories started in the 1930's with some spin off's as late as 1988.

Gray mouser (already taken as an email title) was a thief, mercenary, rogue whom spent a lot of time drinking, feasting, wenching, brawling, stealing, and gambling, etc.

I have more than a two dozen software systems I have to log into for work (typical military), and home so I started using the same user name everywhere possible. On eBay its greymouser7hotmailcom, and just greymouser7 on any forum. It's original enough outside any fantasy world enough to be used & recognized anywhere.

My avatar picture (with Rustyratrod's help shrinking it down) is a gift (color pencil drawing) from my sister for my birthday. John Anderson (even with my middle name) is just so common that I get hassled at the airport, collection letters & phone calls for other people... that creates a necessity for individuality. The guys on the sub called me Mopar man (the only enthusiast out of 180 onboard). I greatly appreciate the originality & community of the Mopar culture in comparison to the 'belly button/dime-a-dozen' mustang/chevy/import/motorcycle crowds. The awesome cars, motors, & engineering is a big plus as well. I would not trade this hobby and it's awesome people for anything!
